Today, we have seen massive amounts of raninfall that will lead to flooding across theMiami Valley.  The bad news is we will see Thunderstorms tonight, some severe, and more rain for the next 36 hours.  There is also an Flood Watch in effect.  We will keep you posted the next 24 hours as the severe weather rolls through.

IN KENTUCKY... BOONE... BRACKEN... CAMPBELL... CARROLL... GALLATIN... GRANT... KENTON... LEWIS... MASON... OWEN... PENDLETON AND ROBERTSON. IN OHIO... ADAMS... AUGLAIZE... BROWN... BUTLER... * A WARM FRONT WILL LIFT NORTHWARD ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF SATURDAY. THIS FRONT WILL RESULT IN A PERIOD OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. THE THREAT FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST LATE TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES DOWN INTO THE REGION. PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY... WITH ONE TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN LIKELY. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TRAIN ACROSS THE SAME AREA.
* SOILS ARE SATURATED THROUGHOUT THE REGION. ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL RUNOFF QUICKLY... INCREASING THE THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING. ALSO... CREEKS... STREAMS AND RIVERS ARE RUNNING HIGH FROM RECENT HEAVY RAIN. RUNOFF INTO CREEKS... STREAMS AND RIVERS WILL RESULT IN RAPID RISES.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS... CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED.
