KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
2011 - 2012 SCHOOL YEAR

10:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M.
And
4:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
Registration for Kindergarten students for the 2011-2012 school year will be held at the Hampton Bennett school administration building on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Hours for registration will be 10:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.
A child must be five years of age on or before September 30 to register for kindergarten.
Parents need to bring the following with them to register their child for kindergarten:
- original birth certificate (not a certificate of birth)
- social security card
- custody/guardianship papers, if applicable
- shot record
- proof of residency (recent utility bill, for example)
The state of Ohio requires that all children complete a year of kindergarten in a certified kindergarten program before entering first grade.
If you have questions or need additional information about registration, contact the Hampton Bennett Early Childhood office at 743-5290.
Registration packets will be available for pick up starting March 7, 2011 at the Welcome Center located at Hampton Bennett 150 E. 6th Street. If you would like to return all of your information before May 12 you may do so by coming into the Early Childhood office between 8:00-4:00 daily.
