The Franklin High School Football team will open their season tomorrow night at home versus cross town rivals Carlisle Indians. The Wildcats will look to get revenge on last year's exciting opening loss vs. the Indians.
The Wildcats have only three returning players on defense and a few on offense. They will look to Cody Priest and Chris Hymer to anchor the backfield. With returning star wide receiver Justin Salyers. Taking on the QB duties will be new starter Junior Kevin Stewart. The preseason has had a heated battle for the starting position with Sophomore Connor Stickleman fighting for the job, as well.
Franklin will use this "Youth Movement" with their speed and enthusiasm! With so many sophomores and juniors looking to play pivotal roles it will make for an exciting season and future for Franklin Football!!
