River Ride 2010
8:30 a.m. to noon
Join us for the annual River Ride on Saturday, July 24. This year we start in the City of Franklin at the municipal building, 1 Benjamin Franklin Way. Riders can check in between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. to begin the 14-mile roundtrip ride that will take you through downtown Franklin onto the Great Miami River Trail, into downtown Miamisburg for a series of historic stops and then back to Franklin via the trail.

The first 100 people to pre-register will receive a free Pedal Pals cinch sack, frisbee, and be eligible to win a Dayton Dragons VIP package.Your VIP treatment includes:
A VIP Parking Spot (parking pass).
4 choice seats to the game.
Behind-the-Scenes Stadium Tour, including looks at the press box, the suite level, the dugout, the field and other areas of the stadium.
A Dragons goodie bag, including a souvenir for each of your guests.
A commemorative photo of your group taken on the field and emailed to you after the game.
$40 in Baseball Bucks which you can choose to spend at any concession stand or at the Dragons Den team store
After you receive all this, you are free to roam the concourse, watch batting practice, shop around in the Dragons Den and enjoy your choice seats during the game.
This will be an experience you and your guests will not soon forget.
More about the ride
Once you ride through Franklin, onto the Great Miami River Trail and into Miamisburg, you'll be directed to five different locations where you'll take part in a historical scavenger hunt. Find the historical artifact and receive a small prize. And we'll have a snack and drink for you at one of the five spots to recharge your batteries for the ride back to Franklin.
But wait, there's more
We'll draw for some additional Dayton Dragons tickets (all riders – whether or not pre-registered – will be eligible for these tickets). So be sure to check back in at the registration table when you return to Franklin to see if you've won.
We'll have a DJ and music.
Dayton Children's Medical Center will be on hand to fit new helmets for children who don't have them or need a new one. Helmet supplies are limited, with only a few younger child sizes. Most helmets are for kids ages 8 and older.

Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
