The Franklin High School Baseball team took to the road last night for their sectional match-up against #2 seeded Monroe.  Not to many people we talked to gave  #9 Franklin a shot.  But after we watched them against Carlisle and then Alter it was not surprise that Franklin defeated the Hornets 10-7.  Franklin displayed the experience that led them to the Division 2 Regional Finals a year ago.  Could they make it again this year?  They are hitting on all cylinders at the right time.

Dalton Davis was the slugger of the evening.  Earning his first ever grand slam and hitting 4-4 from the plate.  Davis had a total 6 RBI's on the night!  Davis also provided the big punch in the Carlisle game with a 3 run blast to deep center field.

Franklin will now play in the Sectional Finals against #5 Talawanda next Thursday, May 20 at 5pm in Springboro.
