The Franklin High School Varsity Softball team enter their sectional game tonight after winning two over the weekend. It started with a win over Waynesville where the Lady Cats shut out the Spartans 9-0 with the great pitching of Chelsea Miller. Miller is 12-9 on the season from the mound.
Last night, the Lady Cats kept motoring against the Carlisle Indians. Going into the 7th deadlocked at 4 the Cats scored 2 runs to escape with the victory. Miller pitched another excellent game picking up her 13th win of the season.
Franklin will face Monroe tonight, weather permitting, in their first round Division 2 State Tourney sectional play.
