The Franklin High School Varsity Baseball team looked impressive last night in their matchup against crosstown rival Carlisle High School Indians. Jordan Pergrem pitched a complete game with six strikeouts to march Franklin to victory! Franklin defeated the Indians 6-0. Dalton Davis stepped to the plate in the bottom of the fourth with bases loaded and ripped a deep shot to the center field fence. Davis drove in all three and earned a double on the blast.
Pergrem took care of the rest from the mound and the Wildcats shut down the Indians high powered hitters for the shutout. Franklin ups their record to 9-14. The Wildcats will travel to Kettering next Tuesday for a Division 2 state tourney action against the Alter Knights.
