Franklin busted out to a 17-0 halftime lead behind Senior QB Ben Sizemore. Sizemore had 111 yards in the first half alone which led to 2 touchdown runs from Cody Priest and a 21 yard field goal by Jordan Pruitt. Sizemore finished with 157 yards in the air on 13 of 19 passing.
The Wildcat defense held the lead with some great play against a strong Brookville running attack. Franklin held the visiting Brookville team to only 83 yards on the ground and forced them into 4 turnovers. One of those turnovers was a fantastic interception by another Senior, Taylor Briggs. The senior defensive also took the ball away from one of the Brookville running backs and then returned it for a 37 yard score.
Franklin sits at 6-3 overall and 3-2 SWBL Southwestern.
