You Are Here: Home - Carlisle Indians , Football , Ross , Varsity team , Wildcats - Franklin looks to rebound tonight versus Ross!

The Franklin Wildcat Football Team will try to put their opening game of the season behind them tonight to take on Ross. Franklin has learned from their mistakes last week, where they had a five turnovers on the night against a stingy Carlisle defense, and have worked hard to prepare for tonight's game.

The Wildcats will travel to Ross tonight for the Journal News Game of the Week and will have to play a very tough Ross team that won last week 21-14 versus Goshen. Though tough to start on the road for the first two games the Wildcats should be able to rebound and on the legs of Dylan Salyers, who had 68 yards rushing last week versus the Indians, the Wildcats should get rolling.

Ross will have to try to stop Salyers, no doubt, but also look to contain Senior Quarterback #7 Ben Sizemore. Last week, when Sizemore had time he through to six different receivers for 90 yards!! Also, Ross will have their hands full with return specialist #29 Taylor Briggs who had no problem returning for many yards last week against the Indians. One return inside the Indians 20 was called back because of holding could have been the game changing play that the Wildcats desperately needed!!

All in all, it will be a fantastic game, go out and support your Cats!!

GO CATS!!
