WHIO has reported that it was Fitzgerald Florist Shoppe was the 2 alarm fire that began around 5am this morning and quickly turned into a 3 alarm. Fire crews had to quickly exit the building as the fire continued to blaze. They began pouring water in through the roof to control the fire. The fire completely engulfed the upper floors of the Florist Shoppe and as of now it seems the building is a complete loss. The building has been there for many years and has a few apartments in the upper floors of the building with about a half a dozen residents living in the building.

All residents made it out safe this morning thanks to the Franklin Fire Department and Police Department. We will continue to cover the story as we hear information.
