The Girls Varsity tennis team lost a tough match to SWBL rival Valley View last night at home with a team score of 0-5. In Singles, Erica Mitchell lost 6-0, 6-1 to VV Presley Swartz. Kaitlyn Coyle lost to Lauren Loney of VV 6-0, 6-1 and Ashley Isaacs lost to Andrea Gibbs of VV 6-0, 6-0.

In Doubles, Turner/Coffey tandem lost to Cramer/Wells VV 6-1, 6-1 and Gross/Miller lost to Groach/Flory of VV 6-0, 6-1.

Franklin moves to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the SWBL.
