WHIO just reported that the suspicous device found at Anthony Wayne High School was a grenade. Though it was inspected and found that it was potentially harmless it still was a grenade left on school grounds.

It seems to be a prank of sorts but this is no laughing matter. If the school was toilet papered that is one thing but a grenade?? A prank is defined by wiki is a stunt or trick to purposely make someone feel foolish or victimized, usually for humor. There is no humor in an unsafe grenade left on school grounds.

The police were summoned to the school and were there for quite some time investigating and bringing appropriate groups to make sure that this was not a LIVE grenade. Any child could have come along and messed around with this potential unsafe device.

What were these pranksters thinking??
