Coin expert Joe Barrett will return to Franklin Saturday, Aug. 1, for a coin appraisal session at the Deardoff Senior Center.Sponsored by the Franklin Area Historical Society, Barrett will speak on coins and paper money at 1 p.m., then do appraisals for people who bring coins or paper money to the program.

Admission is $10. There will be a snack bar available and all proceeds benefit the preservation of Franklin history at the Harding Museum.

The Deardoff Center is located at the corner of South River and Sixth streets in downtown Franklin.
