In Franklin, there are three petitions out for City Council seats. You can check out the Board of Election site by clicking here.

Why will things get WILD?!? Well, all the Franklin City Council Positions or seats are At-Large and Three of Seven seats are open. The Mayor of Franklin, Ohio position is also open though current Mayor Denny Centers plans to go for a re-election.

Centers has served one term as mayor now, and two terms as vice mayor. He spent three terms on City Council.

Michael Aldridge is up for re-election, as well, and TheFranklinVoice.com is waiting word on his intentions.

The three petitions on the Board of Elections website have gotten in almost a month early and they are:

Incumbent Carl Bray 4475 Beal Rd Franklin, OH 45005 served two terms on council.
Steven Burggraf 6379 Gorsuch Rd Franklin, OH 45005
Douglas Greathouse 41 W Sixth St Franklin, OH 45005

With this many seats open in council and petitions already being filed this could really heat up the election season in Franklin.
