The City of Franklin has announced the 4th of July Parade and Festivities in Franklin, Ohio. Franklin will hold the parade on Saturday, July 4th at 10:00am. The parade will start at Park Avenue downtown. The city urges local businesses and civic organizations to enter a float or vehicle in the parade. Awards will be given for a wide variety of categories based around the theme of "Remember the Lion". The categories will be "Best Theme", "Most creative", and "Council's Choice"
There will also be a "Patriotic Award" to the child who displays the most patriotic attire!
Following the parade, a festival will take place on 3rd Street in downtown Franklin and will include cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, inflatables, and other activities.
